Keep up to date on the project
Consider how the tone in Washington would shift if politicians couldn’t blame anyone but themselves.
Consider how much more productive you could be if you didn’t need to battle blame in the workplace.
Consider how your family dynamics would change if there was less blame at home.
What if more people blamed less?
When we’re too quick to blame circumstance, we install a glass ceiling on our potential.
When we’re too quick to blame others, we turn potential allies into adversaries.
Blame can serve as a gateway drug to shame, scapegoating, and all-out war.
And who hasn’t seen the damage blame can do when it infects a home, a team, a school, an office, or a church?
In 2020, a group in Minnesota began asking what might happen we blamed less. Not never. Just less.
While were still in learning mode, what we’ve discovered is too good to keep to ourselves!
In the months ahead, we’re going to craft a course that will help people understand why we’re so quick to blame and how blame can be far more self-defeating than most people realize. The course will also discuss the benefits of blaming circumstance less, the benefits of blaming others less, and the relationship between blame, shame, and scapegoating.
Over time, we’ll add additional content and offer coaching for families, couples, workplaces, teams, schools, churches, and more. And that’s just the beginning.
Think of what could happen if growing numbers of parents, teachers, coaches, supervisors, entertainers, athletes, influencers, and politicians (yes, even politicians) were making a conscious decision to blame less and inspiring others to do the same.
Ambitious? Yes. But we believe this is an idea whose time has come.
Help us create the world we want to live in. A world where more people blame less.
Join us on the ground floor as we begin developing and testing tools, posting and refining content, and spreading the word about a new movement to help people shift from being part of the problem to part of the solution.
Help us help more people blame less.
Step one is to sign up for Blame Less Project updates. This Fall, we’ll begin sending monthly emails to keep you informed about our next steps and when new content drops.
That’s all we’ll use this list for! We promise not to sell or give away your information!
You’re part of the Blame Less family. We’re in this together.
